Behind the project
One of the key features of Peduly is its seamless volunteering system. With just a few taps, users can browse various social initiatives and join movements that align with their passions. From coastal clean-ups to education programs, Peduly bridges the gap between willingness and action.
Take, for example, a recent event where volunteers gathered on a beach to clean up waste. Armed with gloves, determination, and the Peduly spirit, they worked hand-in-hand to restore the beauty of nature. This initiative was just one of many opportunities facilitated by the app, proving that small efforts, when combined, create a massive impact.
Beyond environmental efforts, Peduly also champions education and empowerment. Peduly volunteers recently gathered at YKI Cabang Koordinasi Jawa Timur for a heartwarming event: "Pizza Creations: A Fun Way to Pass Time Before Iftar with Cancer Survivors." This event brought smiles, warmth, and delicious homemade pizzas to cancer survivors, proving that small acts of kindness can have a big impact.
As volunteers and participants crafted their pizzas together, laughter and joy filled the room. The event wasn’t just about food; it was about creating moments of happiness, fostering connections, and reminding survivors that they are not alone in their journey.
What's next
- Introduce a crowdfunding feature to allow individuals to raise funds for personal and community causes.
